About
About Me
I have always been interested in understanding how things work, especially when they are more complicated than they need to be.
Professionally, I am a Collaboration and Automation Engineer based in Milan, Italy. I have more than 12 years of experience working with enterprise communication systems, voice infrastructure, cloud communications and automation.
My work has taken me from service desk operations and network support to the design, deployment and evolution of large collaboration environments. Along the way, I have worked with on-premises platforms, SBCs, cloud calling, APIs, Python, containers and infrastructure automation.
What I enjoy most is improving the space between people and systems. Sometimes that means designing a new infrastructure. Sometimes it means writing a small script that removes a repetitive task. Sometimes it means connecting two tools through an API because the official workflow is slower than it should be.
Building Useful Things
Most of my personal projects start with a simple question:
“Why am I still doing this manually?”
That question led to projects involving Python, Google Sheets, AWS, APIs, Power Automate, iOS Shortcuts, and everything necessary to make that automation work.
LatinHub is the biggest example. What started as a way to collect Salsa and Bachata events across Italy became an automated ecosystem capable of managing content, files, schedules and communications across multiple platforms.
The technology is interesting, but the real objective is always the same: reduce friction, avoid mistakes and make useful systems run quietly in the background.
Outside Technology
When I am not working with infrastructure or automation, I spend much of my time around cars and driving.
I compete in sim racing with Virtual Racing Team, taking part in races and championships across different simulators. It is a hobby that combines competition, preparation, data, precision and continuous improvement.

This Website
This website is part CV, part portfolio and part technical notebook.
The homepage collects my professional background and projects. The blog is where I write about experiments, automations and solutions that may be useful to other people facing similar problems.
The structure of the website was inspired by the work of Umberto Calò and his open-source CV project.
